Terms of Service

Overview

This website is operated by Summer Rain Farm. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Summer Rain Farm. By visiting our site and/or purchasing something from us, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions.

 

Section 1 - Online Store Terms

By agreeing to these Terms of Service, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in the province of Ontario. You may not use our products for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.

 

Section 2 - Customer Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and dashboard login credentials. You must immediately notify Summer Rain Farm of any unauthorized uses of your account.

 

Section 3 - Product Representation & Handmade Nature

We make every effort to display our farm products as accurately as possible.

  • Handmade Goods: Our soaps, balms, and honey are handmade or farm-produced in small batches. Variations in color, scent, and texture are normal.

  • Allergy & Safety: Ingredients are listed on product packaging. It is the customer's responsibility to review these for potential allergens. Summer Rain Farm is not liable for adverse reactions.

 

Section 4 - Fresh Bouquet Subscriptions & Pickups

To ensure the quality of our fresh flowers, the following rules apply to all bouquet purchases:

  1. Scheduled Pickups: Flowers must be picked up on the designated dates. We are unable to hold bouquets beyond the scheduled time.

  2. Missed Pickups: If you cannot make your pickup, you may send a friend or family member to collect your bouquet.

  3. No Refunds or Replacements: Due to the perishable nature of fresh flowers, we are unable to offer refunds or replacements for missed pickups.

  4. Reminders: As a courtesy, a reminder email will be sent out 1 day before each scheduled pickup date.

 

Section 5 - Farm Goods & Local Pickup

  • Local Pickup Only: Perishable goods, including eggs, honey, and fresh bouquets, are available for on-farm pickup only at 7448 Wellington County Rd 11, Moorefield. We do not ship these items.

  • Ungraded Eggs: Our eggs are sold as ungraded in accordance with Ontario Regulation 171/10 for personal use.

 

Section 6 - Dahlia Tuber Shipping

  • Shipping Area: Dahlia tubers are the only items eligible for shipping and are available to Canadian addresses only.

  • Shipping Schedule: Tubers are shipped only when temperatures are safe for transit (typically Spring).

  • Arrival Condition: We guarantee tubers will have at least one visible "eye" or the potential to grow. Issues must be reported within 48 hours of delivery. We are not responsible for failure due to improper storage or planting.

 

Section 7 - Affiliate Disclosure

Summer Rain Farm is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program. As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases. When you click on certain links on this site (specifically within blog articles) and make a purchase, we may receive a small commission at no extra cost to you.

Section 8 - Third-Party Tools & Maintenance

We utilize third-party tools including Wix Payments, Shippo, and Mailchimp. Additionally, NE Virtual Solutions provides technical website maintenance. You acknowledge these services are provided "as is" without warranties from Summer Rain Farm.

 

Section 9 - Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada.
